English: The 'Yıldırım Beyazit Bath' was built in 1382, a mosque had been built a little earlier, as had a madrasa, all ordered by (the future sultan) Yıldırım Beyazıt, who was governor of the region at that time. 1382 was a moment of much building activity, for it is also the date the 'Yıldırım Camii' of Bolu was constructed.
The bath - according to a notice on site - had a Omar Bin Ibrahim as its architect. The notice praises it as an original examploe of early Ottoman bath architecture. In particular the "dome transitions" in the interior are special. And the muqarnas at the entrance are fine too.
