Description
English: The Sierra Nevada - John Muir Wilderness, Sequoia National Park - California.
  • Northeast from Boreal Plateau, overlooking the Siberian Outpost. In the distance is Mount LeConte. The nameless peak on the extreme left and Cirque Peak bear remnants of the Old Cirque Peak erosion surface. Mount Langley bears a large remnant of the still more ancient Whitney erosion surface. The vale with the pond (foreground) has been slightly modified by glacial action. Circa 1935.
