Summary

Description
English: I was in Kanab, Utah, hoping to win the lottery to get a permit to The Wave (Coyote Butte North) in October 2012 but to no avail; instead of sulking I headed to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon - a pleasant drive. The North Rim is pretty cool - not as crowded as the South Rim but there is still a lot to see. I did some walking and also drove to Point Royal - excellent side trip. The only problem was there was a lot of haze to contend with - oh well, guess I'll have to go back again someday!
