Summary
| Description |
English: The original exploration camp at Mount Goldsworthy during exploritory drilling to prove ore reserves. The expansion of the workforce during this period necessitated the addition of "dongas" to supplement the original steel framed shed visible in the photograph that was used for accomodation as well as a works office.
This photograph was taken from the knob on top of the range looking northwards. This position of the photo is on the western end of the pit that remains. See also Mount_Goldsworthy_Knob.jpg for another view looking westwards from this same location |
