English: The Moroccan-American Treaty of Peace and Friendship, sealed by Mohammed III, signed by Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, and ratified by U.S. Congress on July 18, 1787.
English text reads: Now know Ye that we the said John Adams and Thomas Jefferson Ministers plenipotentiary aforesaid do approve & conclude the said Treaty and every Article and Clause there in contained, reserving the same nevertheless to the United States in Congress assembled for their final Ratification. In testimony where of we have signed the same with our Names and Seals, and the Clause of our respective residence and at the dates expressed under our signatures respectively. ~ John Adams. London January 25. 1787. Th.
