Description
English: Howie Morenz, centre of the Montreal Canadiens of the NHL from 1923 to 1934 and again from 1936 to 1937. This photo is after he broke his leg in a January 28, 1937, game. He would ultimately die on March 8, 1937 from complications relating to the injury.
