Summary

Description This is a picture generated from crystal structure data reported by Cari D. Pentecost, Kelly S. Chichak, Andrea J. Peters, Gareth W. V. Cave, Stuart J. Cantrill, and J. Fraser Stoddart in Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Year 2007, Volume 46, Pages 218-222. It shows a molecular Solomon's knot which is a type of catenane. The larger grey spheres represent zinc ions and the smaller blue-grey sphere reprents copper ions.
