Summary
| Description |
English: Donation of the N lone pair into the C-C double bond produces a significant effect on the overall nucleophilicity of the system. Inductive effects of the ring oxygens encourage N pyramidalization which causes it to lose co-planrity with the C-C bond, eliminating that ineraction and thus reducing the nucleophilicity of that bond. |
