The Missal used to swear in Pres. Lyndon Johnson, 22 Nov 1963. The description given by the LBJ library is as follows:

Title: Missal Used in Presidential Swearing-In Ceremony on Air Force One on Nov. 22, 1963

Identifier: 1979.4.1

Description: Missal upon which LBJ swore the oath of office, Nov. 22, 1963. A plate on the title page reads, "The leather cover designed and hand-tooled in genuine calfskin by Bernard A. Cassidy, 38 Roosevelt Road, Medford Mass." The missal may have been given to President Kennedy by Mr. Cassidy. A missal is a book containing prayers and biblical readings used in the celebration of the Catholic Mass. More about the missal and its history here.
