MinkowskiObserverRindler.png (72 × 322 pixels, file size: 655 bytes, MIME type: image/png)

This physics image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “MinkowskiObserverRindler.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.

Summary

This figure depicts some representative Rindler observers in a Rindler wedge in a Cartesian chart for Minkowski vacuum, The world lines of the Rindler observers are timelike hyperbolic arcs (navy color). The orthogonal hyperslices of the Rindler chart

appear as the spacelike rays in this figure, in which the Y, Z coordinates have been suppressed. The red rays correspond to the Rindler horizon x=0.
