Summary

Description

There is much confusion caused by both of the MiG-23s at Monino being coded '231 blue'! This, I believe, is the original '231 blue' and is therefore the first prototype MiG-23, in unmodified form. It first flew on 10th June 1967. c/n 23-11/1. On display at the Russian Air Force Museum. Monino, Russia.
