Summary

Description
English: A microscope image of the solder pad of a silver screen-printed heterojunction solar cell, at the intersection of a finger (horizontal) and a busbar (vertical). Detail of the texture caused by the printing screen can be seen. Heterojunction solar cells use a low temperature silver paste with a different formulation to PERC cells. Solder pads are used as anchor points for bussing ribbon so that PV cells can be connected together in a module.
