English: Continuing the practice of posting medals commemorating Irish Olympians we have a photo of Irelands first Gold Medal winning boxer Michael Carruth. Michael won gold at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992 and anybody who watched the fight will remember his reaction when his victory over his Cuban opponent was announced! He jumped up into the air as though he was never going to come down again!
