English: Methodology for the construction of an AVO crossplot. The gathers are conditioned so that they reference the same two-way time and the amplitude is extracted across a given time. Each amplitude is plotted against Sin^2 (offset) and a best-fit line is fitted. The gradient and intercept of this line are then plotted against each other and the process is repeated for all time samples and all gathers |
