Medals highly appreciated by Faithful and Collectors. Only 100 commemorative coins were made. At a private auction in California, it was auctioned for $175 million in 2011. There are currently 17 medals in the possession of private collectors, museums and the British Crown, of which only 2 are in optimal condition. One of these coins is in the Royal Treasury of the British Crown. Gift from John Paul II did in 1982, when he made a pastoral visit to Great Britain at a time of great tension over the situation in the Malvinas Islands, the islands known in Argentina as The Malvinas.
