Summary

Description A "measel ball", the relatively new, spotted cue ball used in televised tournaments in pool, and now also in snooker and carom billiards as well. The spots help demonstrate the ball-spin effects of "english". Many actual players, not just audience members, favor these balls for the same reason, and they are especially good for practice, to ensure that one has a straight stroke.
