Caption (from Flickr): Al Collins, as I knew him - professionally known as Max Allan Collins. At this time, 1982, he was writing the Dick Tracy comic strip. Recently, he wrote the book that the movie Road To Perdition was made from. Al and I used to catch matinee together; now his name is IN the movies.
