A portrait of UFA MLA Maurice Conner. Inscription on the reverse reads: "Conner / M.J. Connor / Warner"

Maurice Conner was born in the United States in 1868 and moved to the Warner area sometime before 1911. Conner ran in the 1921 Alberta general election in the electoral district of Warner, defeating Liberal incumbent R. W. Risinger. He was re-elected in the 1926 and 1930 elections, and did not run in 1935.
