Peinture autrefois attribuée à Elisabeth Vigée-Lebrun, l'attribution a Marie-Victoire Lemoine a été rétablie dans Joseph Baillio, «Vie et Oeuvre de Marie-Victoire Lemoine», Gazette des Beaux-Arts, avril 1996, vol. 127, p.125-164.
English: Portrait of Henri Gabiou, the artist's nephew, playing the violin, painting exhibited at the Salon of 1796 (# 285) as Un petit garçon jouant du violon (A little boy playing the violin).
