Summary

Description

Mascarenhasia arborescens Apocynaceae Shrub or small tree up to 8 m. Native to Africa, Madagascar No common name, but I would call it 'rubber tree': The tree yields a rubber which at one time attracted some interest in southeastern Africa, but it contains a high amount of gum (68%) and is of no commercial value.
