During the 1948 Exchange Trials (see TQ3083 : SR Bulleid Pacific leaving King's Cross during 1948 Exchange Trials), 'West Country' No. 34006 'Bude' (built 7/45 as 21C106, withdrawn 3/67), fitted temporarily with an LMS tender with water-scoop, arrives at Marylebone heading the 08.25 from Manchester (London Road) via Sheffield, on trial with dynamometer-car. |
