Summary

Description
English: This is the Maryknoll house in Hong Kong. When the Japanese took Hong Kong in the 1930s this was one of the last places of resistance because it is on top of a hill. Right behind this house they executed captured Canadian soldiers. The Japanese used this as their main HQ in Hong Kong. After the Japanese were defeated, this house returned to Maryknoll. It is the Maryknoll HQ for Asia.
