English: Lord Lieutenant of the City of Belfast, Dame Mary Peters. The Lord Lieutenant is the Queen's representative in the city. Mary Peters is a retired athlete who won gold in the pentathlon at the 1972 Summer Olympics. She also won gold and silver medals at the Commonwealth Games for Shot Put and Pentathlon.
