Description
English: Photo of Martin "Moe" Snyder in 1938 as he was charged with the shooting of Myrl Alderman. Snyder was singer Ruth Etting's ex-husband. Snyder became angry that his ex-wife was seeing Alderman. While Snyder was on trial for the shooting, Alderman and Etting were married.
  • Note the uploaded photo is larger and of better quality than the newsprint photo.
  • Renewal searches were done in both publications and artwork for the years 1965 and 1966. There were no listings for The Hutchinson News or Associated Press; there's no evidence of continuing copyright for the image.
