Summary

Description
Русский: Карта Марса (по Фламмариону и Антониади).

Затушёванные на карте места - серого цвета; менее затушёванные - красноватого; остальные - ярко-красно-оранжевого цвета.

Большинство каналов показаны одиночными; двойными же показаны Nilus, Nilokeras, Protonilus, Phison.

При проекции Меркатора, в которой построена карта, искажаются местности, близкие к полюсам; поэтому на карте крайне увеличены сравнительно с экваториальными размеры местностей Baltia, Nerigos, Hellas, Argyre, Thyle и пр.

За начальный меридиан на карте принят проходящий через центр Озера Солнца (Solis Lacus). Северная часть планеты, как она видна в астрономическую трубу.
