Summary

Signal flags of Captain Frederick Marryat's Code of Signals (see w:Maritime flag signalling. Created by w:User:J. Johnson), following Marryat (1847, 1854) and Timothy Wilson (Flags at Sea, 1986), with special consideration to get the proportions nearly correct. Note that the "1" (one) flag, elsewhere shown as a white square on a blue field (modern "Papa" flag) is here shown as blue on white (modern "Sierra" flag). This is confirmed to be correct by reference to Marryat, Wilson, and other older (pre-Internet) sources.
