It is believed to be free for distribution and reuse. It has been widely disseminated in the media, both TV and print, since its first release in 2005. It has also been widely distributed on "Have You Seen This Man" posters released for public display by North Yorkshire Police seeking information regarding his whereabouts. No further free image is likely to be created as the subject is now imprisoned on a "whole life" sentence. It lacks significant creative elements.
