Italiano: Maria Antonietta passeggia nel parco di Versailles con i figli, Louis Joseph e Madame Royale. Il dipinto venne ordinato dalla regina per essere offerto al re di Svezia Gustavo III. Il pittore svedese Wertmüller, al quale Maria Antonietta aveva accordato delle lunghe sedute di posa, si fece fare dei manichini come modelli e delle bambole che imitavano le pettinature della Regina fabbricate dal "divino" Léonard Cadet. Questo spiega la rigidità delle spalle e del busto nei ritratti da lui eseguiti. Quando il dipinto venne esposto, a nessuno piacque veramente, sia per la scarsa somiglianza fisionomica, sia perché la regina dimostrava "poca dignità": per questa ragione Wertmüller dovette apportare al dipinto svariate modifiche, ad esempio, nel ritratto originale, la regina aveva il volto girato dalla parte opposta e il Tempio dell'amore era più in mostra. Gustavo III, re di Svezia, prese il dipinto nell'agosto del 1786, quando il pittore finì di apportare le modifiche.
Français : Marie-Antoinette se promenant dans le jardin anglais du Petit Trianon avec ses deux enfants Louis-Joseph et Madame Royale. La peinture a été commandée par la reine à Wertmüller pour être offerte au roi Gustave III de Suède, qui l'a reçue à la fin de l'année 1786. La toile a d'abord été placée au château royal de Gripsholm avant de rejoindre le musée de Stockholm. D'après Madame campan, il s'agit d'un portrait très ressemblant de la reine, même si la toile a été mal accueillie à l'origine.
