English: Portrait of Princess Maria Antonia of Parma (1774-1841), daughter of Ferdinando I, Duke of Parma
Italiano: "Maria Antonia di Borbone (Parma 1775 – Roma 1841), terzogenita del duca Ferdinando e di Maria Amalia, divenne suora Orsolina nel 1802 con il nome di Luigia Maria. Morì a Roma nel Monastero di Sant’Agata. Il piccolo dipinto, in passato attribuito ad Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun (che soggiornò a Parma nel 1789 e nel 1792), attribuzione già messa in dubbio dalla Cioccolo, è stato invece assegnato da Mariangela Giusto a Francisco Vieira, che le fece alcuni ritratti nel 1794, tra cui una miniatura identificabile con la presente opera. Una copia di questo ritratto, dipinta dalla stessa principessa, si conserva presso il Collegio delle Orsoline, mentre un terzo esemplare, proposto ad Antonio Pasini, è presente in Museo (inv. 2408)."
