Summary

Description
English: This map shows the places that Marco Polo traveled through, in particular, Caugigu was the same kingdom (or country) as Tung-King (or tonkin) and Kiao-chi (or Jiaozhi), which is modern North Vietnam, following the interpretation of the great French sinologist Paul Pelliot. This interpretation is adopted by most (if not all) subsequent Marco-Polo scholars.
