Summary

Description
English: This map detail shows (at middle-left) the Bangor terminus of the Bangor Oldtown and Milford Railroad (shown Bangor & Piscataquis) as it existed in 1853. The engine house and station are indicated between Curve and Cumberland, and Market and Harlow streets. Of note is the 2nd set of tracks running on the left side of the Penobscot River with the bridge over the Kenduskeag Stream shown blotted out, labeled "proposed Penobscot..."
