The map was composed using a fragment of Ordnance Survey Edinburghshire Sheet VIII.SE, surveyed up to 1913, and printed in 1915, which is out-of-copyright due to age, and was editted to illustrate the features mentioned in the article about D'Arcy. The base map can be found in printed form, also from the National Library of Scotland (maps.nls.uk).
