English: Map is derived from Maps used in Willoughby, Charles A. , ed. (1994) Reports of General MacArthur: Japanese Operations in the Southwest Pacific Area, U. S. Government Printing Office OCLC: 1054369044. Maps were modified by photoshop to remove extraneous information.

The information for the Japanese Absolute National Defense Line is taken from the descriptions in Map on pg. 227 in Willoboughby and from descriptions in Tanaka, Yuki (2023) "Asia-Pacific War" in Hein, Laura E. , ed.
