Summary

Description

More than 5 million passports are printed a year and this is how they are made.

The famous red books -- which will be 100 years old on 1 January 2015 -- are printed in a secret location in the North of England.

One passport rolls off the factory every 2.5 seconds.

Because of the high demand for passports, it is important to apply or renew early.
