(Manifesto to the Czechoslovak people in America) is one of a series of posters recruiting Czech and Slovak volunteers to fight with the Czechoslovak Legion against Austria-Hungary and Germany for an independent Czechoslovakia. A soldier carries the flags of the United States and of the Slovak and Czech independence movements.
