English: Mary A. "Mamie" Campbell Hagerman (16 Sep 1862 - 3 May 1912) was the granddaughter of Selina and Alexander Campbell (founder of Disciples of Christ Church and Bethany College in W. Va.) and the wife of Barton Campbell Hagerman. She participated in the management of the schools for which B.C. Hagerman served as president, including the Madison Female Institute (Richmond, Ky.), Bethany College, Hamilton Female College (in Lexington, Ky.). Upon her death in 1912, he closed the Campbell-Hagerman College they had established in 1903 in Lexington, Ky.
