English: Mallow Bridge Mallow's motto is 'The Crossroads of Munster', and at one time this bridge over the River Blackwater was of great strategic importance as it provided the main north-south road link to Cork. Today the N20 by-pass road to the west takes all the through traffic. The River Blackwater had a lot more water in it than usual on the day that the photo was taken.
