DescriptionMOKM50.jpg	English: Büyük Deniz Gölü or Lake Big Peshevit (English: Big Sea Lake), is a glacial lake in Çamlıhemşin district of Rize Province and İspir district of Erzurum Province in Turkey. Deniz Lake is the deepest glacial lake in Turkey with depth of 60 m. Also, it is the largest lake in terms of surface area in the Kaçkar Mountains with 750 m². Diameter of the lake is approximately 150 m and has an altitude of 3.384 m. Surface of the lake is covered with ice for 10 months and it starts to melt in late July.
