Summary

Description

The Snow Goose is a multi-purpose UAV used for the precision cargo delivery. It was originally designed for leaflet dispensing, but can support a variety of missions with its six modular cargo bays and can carry up to 575lbs of cargo including fuel, electronic sensors or broadcasting packages. Equipped with an autonomous guidance system and satellite communications for monitoring and controlling flights from a remote ground control station, the Snow Goose uses a collapsible parafoil for lift (not on display) and a turbocharged Rotax engine for propulsion. The main pod is on display in Hangar 2 at the March Field Air Museum, Riverside, CA, USA.
