English: THE MILLER-KINGSLAND HOUSE IS BOONTON'S OLDEST BUILDING AND SUCCESSFULLY COMBINES TWO ARCHITECTURAL STYLES. THE ORIGINAL DUTCH WEST WING BUILT BY JOHANNES MILLER AROUND 1740 WAS PURCHASED IN 1798 BY ISAAC KINGSLAND, WHO ADDED THE LARGE FEDERAL-STYLE WING IN 1808.
Johannes Miller(born Dec, 8,1700)came from Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. He died in Boonton, NJ October 28.1769. His wife Anna Streit also born in Germany,Hünfelden, Gießen, Hesse, Germany. She was born August 23, 1697 and died August 10,1766. Information by Norman Miller 2016
