English: NSWR 'S' Type, 'FS' Class Economy Saloon No.MFS 2137 at Trainworks, the New South Wales Railway Museum, Thirlmere, 31 March 2016. Clyde Engineering built the 'S' type in 1935-37: 35 1st class 'BS' type and 86 economy class 'FS' type; they were withdrawn in 1974-82. 8 were gutted and converted to suburban/inter urban use with higher density seating and reclassified 'IFS' and 'MFS'.
