DescriptionMAX at Sunset TC during Feb 2014 snowstorm.jpg
A MAX light rail train westbound at the Sunset Transit Center station in February 2014, during one of Portland's heaviest snowfalls in years. It was in service on the Blue Line, which normally runs to Hillsboro, but this trip was set to end at the Merlo Road/158th Avenue station, one stop before the westside MAX maintenance facility (Elmonica), and presumably the train was scheduled to pull into the caryard from there on this day. In the normal schedule, no such trips are scheduled for this time of day (mid-afternoon). This specific light-rail train was made up of cars 305 and 240, both Siemens SD660s.
