Summary

Description
English: YANKEE DOOD TAP ROOM IN THE NASSAU INN. THE INN ; GOES BACK TO 1756 WHEN IT WAS BUILT BY JUDGE THOMAS LEONARD
Date
Source Own work
Author Jerrye & Roy Klotz, MD

WIKIPEDIA HAS AN ARTICLE ON THE NASSAU INN WITH AN EXTERIOR PICTURE BUT NO INTERIOR PICTURE OF THE VERY ATTRACTIVE PUB ON THE GROUND FLOOR. INTERESTINGLY THERE IS A PLAQUE BESIDE THE ENTRANCE TO THIS INN WHICH STATES IT IS LISTED ON THE NATIONAL REGISTRY. I CAN FIND NO SUCH LISTING AND IT WOULD NOT APPEAR TO BE IN THE PRINCETON HISTORIC DISTRICT. THE PLAQUE LOOKS IDENTICAL TO MANY I HAVE SEEN ON OTHER REGISTRY BUILDINGS
