English: Counter-example to Illustrate Müller-Lyer illusion limits, due to the thickness of the strokes. The margin of error is located within the two dotted intervals. Some observers may think that the two segments are indeed different sizes, and therefore that this "optical illusion" is not.
Français : Contre-exemple illustrant les limites de l'Illusion de Müller-Lyer, à cause de l'épaisseur des traits. La marge d'erreur réside dans les deux intervalles en pointillés. Certains observateurs peuvent penser que les deux segments sont effectivement de tailles différentes, et par conséquent que cette fameuse "illusion d'optique" n'en est pas une.
