English: Old Dutch Windmill in the small village Benz on Usedom, an island in the Baltic Sea. This Windmill was founded in 1821, painted in 1910 by the famous Bauhaus Artist Lyonel Feininger and today it is a technical museum. Thousands of people visit the monument every year. On the mountain, there is a magnificent view of the landscape of the island.
Deutsch: Eine alte Holländerwindmühle in dem kleinen Dorf Benz auf Usedom, einer Insel in der Ostsee. Diese Windmühle wurde 1821 erbaut, 1910 durch den berühmten Bauhaus-Künstler Lyonel Feininger gemalt und ist heute ein technisches Museum. Tausende Menschen besuchen das Denkmal in jedem Jahr. Vom Mühlenberg hat man einen herrlichen Blick über die Landschaft der Insel. |
