DescriptionLydney Locomotive Depot Pannier tank geograph-2951211-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg
English: Ex-GW 0-6-0 Pannier tank at Lydney Locomotive Depot.
A nice shot - perhaps marred by the bloke in the foreground! - of a Collett '8750' class 0-6-0T, No. 4614 (built 4/42, withdrawn 7/64) outside the small Depot near Lydney Junction station, which provided the locomotives for the ex-Severn & Wye branches into the Forest of Dean from Lydney. Lydney Depot was a Sub-shed to Gloucester (Horton Road), but maintained an allocation of about 15 engines
