English: Lydia Pinkham - The back cover says (ellipses show missing places where corner of cover is missing) ...tire book copyrighted in 1901 and 1904 by the Lydia ... m Medicine Co. of Lynn, Mass., U. S. A. All rights ... and will be protected by law." I interpret this as "This entire book copyrighted in 1901 and 1904 by the Lydia Pinkham Medicine Co. of Lynn, Mass., U. S. A. All rights reserved and will be protected by law." This dates it as published 1904 and therefore in the public domain. There are no trademark notices. Numark Laboratories sells a product called Lydia Pinkham® Herbal Compound with a ® symbol after Lydia Pinkham. The image, however, does not refer to a product, but to the author of the book, and it says "Lydia E. Pinkham", not "Lydia Pinkham."
