| Description |
English: The bolo is a 10-year old heavy utility blade, locally known as dahong palay or dahompalay.
As is characteristic of Luzon blades, the tang is peened on the rear part of the hilt. This particular bolo was made in Majayjay, Laguna, by the few remaining bladesmiths in the country. The scabbard is made of a local hardwood called narra. The hilt is made of carabao horn.
