English: The Earth's Moon, Luna, as seen from Keele Observatory at Keele University, on the evening of Tuesday 9 December 2008, three days before the December Full Moon (the Oak Moon) on 12 December.

Lunar Data for 9 December 2008

This montage was made by merging a set of 22 images taken by a Canon EOS 450D through the 12" Oxford Refractor telescope at the observatory. The images were then stitched together using Hugin, before finally being darkened using Windows Live Photo Gallery and cropped using Serif PhotoPlus 9.

Shutter speed was 1/100 sec, format Canon RAW (.cr2) at 12 megapixels.
