Deutsch: Der Steamcracker II auf dem Werksgelände der BASF in Ludwigshafen am 22. September 2020 (Luftaufnahme aus 3000 Fuß Höhe aus einem Tragschrauber heraus). Das Foto zeigt auch eine Abfackelung. Grund dafür war eine Fehlfunktion eines Steamcrackers. In solchen Fällen kann aus Sicherheitsgründen Rohgas über eine Fackel verbrannt werden.
English: The Steamcracker II on the BASF site in Ludwigshafen on 22 September 2020 (aerial view from 3000 feet above the ground from a gyrocopter). The photo also shows a flare-up. The reason for this was a malfunction of a steam cracker. In such cases, raw gas can be burnt via a flare for safety reasons. |
